Worms WMD on the PS4

I used to spend all of my Saturdays playing Worms on the PlayStation 2 and I’m glad to see it’s now back on my screen thanks to the PS4. We’ve known for years that this 2D battler can hold its own next to bigger and more self-serious strategy games and there is one major positive with Worms this time round; it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. You really do go back to basics with this one, everything is friendly and familiar like it was on the PS2 except this time it’s sharper. The crisp cartoon visuals and sounds aren’t far from the original either and that’s why it’s performing so well in the charts. The only problem with this game is that it’s set at quite a steep price, so only real hardcore Worms fans will want to add this timeless classic to their collection.
